 Reflection

Now, no one knows their life before they live it. It’s impossible to detect which pathway one may take. Although we may plan things far in advance. It doesn’t mean that that’s the road…, that we will take. Life has a way of showing up. In the most arbitrary way. To say we have a perfect life. This is to say, we understand everything in creation. Although we study every evolution every day. Beat from the day and how it starts to the year and how it ends. We have no guarantees. We can predict many things. But the proof, positive evidence that we find. And the things that brought us here that we left behind. Are the telltale signs of what life...is. It's real! In the world and time that we are living. So now..., at this... time, today. REFLECT! Reflections on many things present themselves. And there is no master plan. On what we ponder about in life. When looking over the position of our lives where we stand today. Where we came from in the past. We only have the hope of what we wish for. We dream for…, of tomorrow and in the future times that come. We go over memories and events. With people in situations and experiences. From our past all the way into this present day. Many with markers and defining moments. That either scarred us or enlightened us. But most of all, many of those moments that guide us. To the places we find ourselves from day to day. Reflection is a good thing! It can help you make decisions. Know your options, your choices. Strengthen your religion. Your constitution. Your belief system and helps you deal with the facts of life. As they present themselves. To say there is a perfect world. A perfect situation, a perfect resolution, or a final solution. To every issue, concern, or problem that many have each day. There are no guarantees. We are not promised tomorrow. We are only promised the moments. that we breathe each day. So this time of the year, when you’re reflecting on your life, your position in the world, in the universe. In your mind. Be thankful for all the past moments that you shared and that you’ve had to gather with yourself or anyone. Life is to be loved... no matter what the circumstance. You only get one ride. So it’s a one-way ticket. Tomorrow is not promised, but it is there for everyone. To find hope, understanding, consideration, and even love. But happiness is only in your heart. Although many things in life may please you. Only you can define what happiness is to you. At any point in your life. So embrace yourself! Your spirit, your mind. Your heart, your presence in the world. And reflect on the positive the future. Not just... today but all through your life. This is the evolution of your life. Because you are the leader of the body and the spirit. All that is in the mind that you possess... And the world, the entities that create the universe, our evolution. Lay before us with each step we take or Choices we make. This is not a test! This is life and how you use it. Love your life and make it your best! Many blessings in the new year and many more years to come. Embrace 2025! Like it’s day number one for the rest of your life.

More OR Less?

MORE OR LESS? DREAM COMPLAIN  LISTEN  TALK   LOVE  ARGUE  HOPE  FEAR  RELAX  WORRY  BELIEVE  DOUBT  PLAY  WORK I saw this sign. Poster in a doctor’s office or a facility. So I took a picture because it spoke to me. It gave me thought to ask. Who decides? Really! Who decides what those choices are? What if we change the order? Will it make a difference.? Will it shift the mind to work in other ways? Drive the desire to improve? Will it give birth to inspiration? Who decides? How do you plan to make the changes.? Is changer always good? Is it appropriate for the masses?  You or I? Is there a word in the dictionary, the options, that anyone will read? Of course, these words always generate every individual it can be defined… Differently. The biggest Quandary… is figuring it out. Stepping out can mean so many things. For so many people, at certain times in their lives. But! Ask yourself. One word at a t...

What Is a Name? -Shoshana Eitz

What is a name? Is it a pathway, a label, or a title? Or is it just a term that your guardians gave you, what your friends call you?  My first name means tree, my middle name is a flower, while my given last name means scribe; my married name meaning church. As strange as it may seem, these words or "names" accurately capture who I am. Because of my strong connection to trees, how I choose to mutilate a piece of paper matters a lot. On the remains of the dead tree, the ink stains produce an enduring tattoo of unfiltered feelings and provocative thoughts. Little things, daily miracles, calm moments, and even the midst of mayhem can all be beautiful to my eyes. Indeed, beauty is subjective, and everyone of us is like a flower—beautiful and different in our own way. Like beauty, faith is personal to everyone of us. Religion, spirituality, and faith can all be characterized as either the same or distinct concepts. By using my innate scribe nature to create written works that can ...

Aphantasia - Shoshana Eitz

Do you visualize or conceptualize your thoughts? Did you know that approximately 3% of the population possesses a trait known as Aphantasia? This isn't a disorder, illness, or limitation; rather, it's a neurological trait where individuals cannot create mental images. I fall into that 3%. This means I cannot visualize anything at all; when I close my eyes, no images materialize. If you ask me to envision an apple, I cannot. Yet, I can eloquently describe every detail about it: the hues, the weight, the taste and texture, how and where it flourishes, and the appearance of its tree and leaves. My mind resembles a file cabinet brimming with information, devoid of visuals. Those with Aphantasia often find themselves drawn to the realms of the scientific community or professions entwined with numbers. For me, the absence of imagery proves more advantageous than obstructive in nurturing my creativity. I concentrate on engaging various senses, aiming to captivate readers who may not ...

Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn

Survival Mode— As a child, I learned to fawn. Every breath was a careful negotiation to appease my mother, her moods like changing weather—sunshine one moment, stormy the next. It was born of her emotional clench, the jagged edge of her words piercing deeper than any physical blow. I danced on the edge of her wrath, longing for her approval, trembling under the weight of a love that twisted and stung. When passion ignites, I fight. I lash out with words, fierce and unrelenting. It’s a desperate struggle, a wild grasp at hope—an ember in the dark. I contend with the shadows for a glimmer of light, a whisper of possibility. In those moments, I am a warrior, standing firm against the tide, even if the ground is crumbling beneath my feet. Then, there comes the flight. I recognize when the air has grown too thick, when the light dims, and the shadows draw near. In those final moments of clarity, I abandon the fight. I retreat, silent, slipping away without another word. My heart beats stead...
